Gary Ponder develops, manages, evaluates and implements public

sector programs for federal, state

and local governments.

 

He has served as a subject matter expert (SME) and project manager on

a range of initiatives funded mostly through HUD, FEMA, and HHS. His work effectively builds stronger and more resilient communities by evaluating assets, identifying needs, cultivating capacity, and leveraging investment opportunities.

 

His community development work supports economic reinvestment, recovery, the installation of public facilities, neighborhood services, micro-enterprise, code enforcement,

and other public sector plans.

 

Gary is a former HUD Community Builder Fellow with more than 25

years of experience. His work has

been featured in the New York Times and The Washington Post newspapers.
